Recognize

• Prior moderate or severe allergic-like reaction to same class of contrast

1. 1Prednisone 50 mg PO at 13 h, 7 h, and 1 h before contrast
2. 2PLUS Diphenhydramine 50 mg PO/IV/IM 1 h before contrast
3. 3Use a different contrast agent within the same class if possible
